The 2017 New York Auto Show is taking place in New York City. The world’s leading carmakers have unveiled the latest models, the most modern technologies applied in the present and in the future.
Dodge, Jeep, Hyundai, Honda, Subaru, Genesis, Toyota … and many other car companies have introduced a variety of cars from concept to sedan, large SUVs or super cars, sports cars.

10. 2018 Hyundai Sonata
Brings many similarities with the local market version, The 2018 Hyundai Sonata features a sportier front of car, with large grille and LED headlamps. The difference continues to be reflected in the tail lights, alloy wheels. Particularly Sonata Sport and Sonata 2.0T versions are available in bunkers and black windows.
2018 Hyundai Sonata continues to use 2.0L turbocharged engine, for a maximum capacity of 245 horsepower. This 6-speed gearbox is now replaced by an 8-speed automatic.
9. Subaru Ascent Concept
Subaru Ascent carries the Viziv-7’s “Dynamic x Solid” design language – the concept introduced at the 2016 New York Auto Show. Compared to the Viziv-7, The Ascent Concept is smaller in size, with a length of 5,449mm, a width of 1,989mm, a height of 1,839mm and a base length of 2,972mm.
Subaru Ascent has seven seats and will compete directly with the Ford Explorer and Nissan Pathfinder. Initially, Ascent will only be sold exclusively in the US market with a completely new engine.
8. Infiniti QX80 Monograph Concept
As Subaru, Infiniti also brought the 2017 New York Auto Show new utility car. The Infiniti QX80 Monogram represents the luxury SUV model of the future and demonstrates the evolution of the Infiniti QX80’s design over time.
The Infiniti QX80 Monograph is equipped with a 24-inch super-large wheelset and other equipment, offering off-road capability on a large luxury SUV. Detailed specifications are currently not disclosed.
7. Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk
Only with the possession of the 6.2L V8 supercharged engine used on the Hellcat, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk made the fans mad.
Achieving a power of 707hp and 875Nm of torque, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 289 km/h. With the aid of the all-wheel drive system, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is significantly faster than the Challenger and Charger brothers.
6. Buick Enclave 2018
In 2018, the Buick Enclave is refurbished as an all-new car, offering seven seats. With new upgrades, the Acura MDX, Audi Q7 and Infiniti QX60 will have to be careful before the 2018 Enclave.
Heart of the Buick Enclave 2018 is a 3.6L V6 engine, producing a maximum output of 302hp.
5. 2018 Acura TLX
The new generation of luxury mid-size sedan, the Acura TLX, is slightly upgraded in design, focusing on the front of the car.
Customers can choose from a 2.4-liter, or 6-cylinder four-cylinder engine, capable of producing 290 horsepower and 360 Nm.
4. Genesis GV80 Concept
The GV80 Concept is the first utility car of the luxury car brand under Hyundai, Genesis.
The Genesis GV80 Concept is about the same size as the Hyundai Santa Fe and uses the same platform as the G80 and G90. This means that the Genesis GV80 will be equipped with HTRAC with gasoline engines and turbocharged diesel engines.
According to some sources, the Genesis GV80 Concept will be sold in the market in 2020.
3. Toyota FT-4X Concept
The FT-4X Concept is a new crossover model launched by Toyota in the 2017 New York Auto Show. The new utility car is based on the company’s TNGA platform.
The Toyota FT-4X targets urban customers with unique styling, versatile interior space and great cargo capacity.
2. 2018 Lincoln Navigator
Luxury SUV – The 2018 Lincoln Navigator is powered by a twin-turbo V6, offering 450 horsepower with 10-speed gearboxes. Compared to its predecessor, the Navigator 2018 is 91 kg lighter due to its aluminum body.
Inside, the interior is leather upholstery, integrated modern technology.
