Mitsubishi officially revealed the company’s all-new MPV-Exporter. The MPV will be launched for the first time at the Indonesia International Exhibition from August 10 to August 20.
The name Expander has not yet been confirmed as the official name of the car, and this will be mentioned in the launching event next month. Until that time, Mitsubishi only refers to Expander as next generation MPV.
The combination of the durability of the SUV and the stature of the MPV, Mitsubishi Expander has a design inspired by some of the concept cars of brand debuted in recent years, especially Mitsubishi XM.
The official image of Expander shows the improvement of company. The front panel features two daytime lights mounted on either side of the grille with headlights placed just below. While the front has many innovations, the sides of the car and the rear do not seem to have much of a refreshing detail.
Inside the car, customers can enjoy spacious interiors that can accommodate up to seven people with three rows of seats. At present, Mitsubishi has not revealed anything more about the cabin of the Expander except that the MPV will provide more seating space for passengers and around interior height is also “freed” more.
Mitsubishi’s next-generation MPV can also be received a two-tone panel, an entertainment information system with a touch screen located at the center of the control knob to control climate.
On power transmission, the power of Mitsubishi MPV is a 1.5litter petrol engine that can be combined with a manual gearbox or automatic transmission.
Mitsubishi Expander will be officially assemble at its new Indonesian plant in Bekasi Prefecture of West Java Province, and will be available for customers in this fall.
