Microsoft expands Chrome extension to add Skype

Microsoft has released the latest update to its Skype extension for Google’s Chrome browser, helping to more deeply integrate its communication platform of your web experiences.

In a report, Microsoft said that with the latest update of the Skype extension for Chrome, users can create and insert Skype call links with just one click from right within user’s email, calendar item or tweet.

To install the latest Skype extension for the Chrome browser, users need to visit the Chrome Web Store, then finding this extension and installing it in a browser, or update it if it already exists.

The same thing also appears in Google Inbox when editing a new email

The Add Skype video call button appears in the Outlook.com window

You can also create Skype call links in calendar on Outlook.com

The same thing happens in Google Calendar

For those who spend a lot of their time on Twitter, the extension also allows them to add a Skype call link while tweeting.
