Leica launch second generation mirror less Leica TL2

After 3 years launching Leica T, Germany brand camera has launched its second generation which is called TL2. The T series has different design when compared to other models such as Leica M, X or Q series.

Like Leica T, Leica TL2 has a modern and monolithic aluminum design instead of the nostalgic Leica M design. Its designs are extremely minimalist and do not even have the styling or mode names in the wheel control.
The power button and shutter button are meticulously crafted next to two adjustable wheels. Leica TL2 is still a joint design by Leica in collaboration with design department of brand car Audi.

The camera is equipped with 24-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, IOS from 100 to 50.000 and 49 points focusing system. The Leica TL2 delivers up to 20 shots per second in shutter mode with electronic shutter. The manufacturer said the startup speed and responsiveness of the device significantly faster than the previous generation. However, the battery life of TL2 is not equal to T.

This camera has a large 3.7 inch rear touch screen with a resolution of 1.23 million pixels. The speed of touch screen has increased 8 times compared to the previous generation. The first Leica T was criticized for lackluster touch screen and slow respond.

Leica TL2 can film 4K UHD standard, integrating with USB Type-C 3.0 and output HDMI. Leica has adjusted the menu interface of the machine with icons to allow easier to understand and manipulate. The company said the aluminum sections are beveled round to create a more comfortable feel when holding.
