With the new processor version, iPhone 8 is expected to have higher performance scores then any current high-end phones.
When iPhone 8 launched later this year, it will be the most powerful smartphone. The device will have higher performance points than Samsung Galaxy S8, OnePlus 5 or any Android phone is available in the market.
Tech Insights experts analyzed the A10X processor found in the iPad Pro and recognized it unlike the Fusion A10. The A10X is Apple’s first 10nm chip and is manufactured using new technology. Performance results of the iPad Pro use this chip is very high. Geekbench 4 scores for single-core and multi-core are 3900 and 9300, roughly equal to the MacBook Pro.
Samsung Galaxy S8, the OnePlus 5 and all other Android devices built on 10-nm chips that score over 2,000 (single-core) and 6100 (multi-core) chips, are significantly lower than the 10-chip Nm A10X.
Last year, the iPhone 7 Plus outperformed its Android rivals in single-core trials, reaching more than 3,500 points, while multi-core scores almost hit 6,000. A11 chip with support for iPhone 8 and iPhone 7S will also be built on TSMC’s 10nm technology. Maybe it does not look like the A10X, but it’s expected to produce great results in testing.
These figures show that iPhone 8 will inherit the capabilities of its predecessor, providing a better user experience.
