Samsung is considering the possibility of selling the Galaxy S8 6GB RAM version in more markets than China only if user demand is high.
According to Yonhap News (Korea), Samsung is planning to expand the market for Galaxy S8 6GB RAM and 128GB memory. The company is currently considering where to sell, based on user demands.
Previously, the Galaxy S8 6GB RAM version was supposed to be available only in China, because Samsung want its product to compete better, especially as this market appears to have a lot of phones with 6GB RAM from Vivo, Oppo, Huawei … However, users only have one option of the black Galaxy S8+ with a 6.2-inch screen version.
Phonearena said that Samsung’s moves are quite understandable, as many people are willing to spend a little more money to own a smartphone with higher RAM and memory space for work or entertainment, as well as avoid being obsolete in the future. However, they will have to spend up to $1,020, almost twice the price of the standard version.
