Galaxy Note FE will hit the Korean smartphone market on July 7, including four colors which are black, blue, gold and silver and moreover it was integrated with Bixby.
After a long time appearing as a rumor, Samsung has officially announced the revision of the Galaxy Note 7, which is called Galaxy Note Fan Edition (FE). The words “Fan Edition” are printed on the back of the device. There will be about 400.000 units sold in the Korean market from July 7 with the price $610.
Samsung has not announced plan to released Galaxy Note FE in other markets. Compared to Galaxy Note 7, the biggest difference is the battery dropped to 3200 mAh and voice recognition function. The model has no hard button to call Bixby.
Samsung confirmed that Galaxy Note Fan Edition battery has gone through its eight step test procedure, avoiding the occurrence of fires. The smooth launch Galaxy S8 using this process is a testament. Last year, Samsung had to recollect about 3 million units id Galaxy Note 7. Thus, there may be as few other markets which will accept this model.
Galaxy Note FE’s case also has a very unique heart icon. When Note 7 is dead, many people feel sorry for it because it is Samsung’s most complete Galaxy. Galaxy Note FE is available in Black Onyx, Silver Titanium, Blue Coral and Gold Platinum colors. In addition to the lower battery, the handset retains the configuration of the Note 7, including a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, Exynos 8890 chip, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB capacity, 12 megapixel f / 1.7 camera.
