In spite of declining in sales figures after a long time on the tablet market (tablet), Apple iPad models is still offering the highest amount of users in this market.
According to SlashGear, the latest figures from market researcher IDC and Strategy Analytics show that the iPad still occupies the top position in today’s tablet market, though the difference in rates has been narrowing.
The user start to question the purpose of iPad, and it seemed to iPad does not make its users feeling excited to buy. Studies showed that 4/2016 iPad sales in the quarter fell 19% compared to the same period in 2015, a considerable reduction. However, this does not affect the iPad’s share of global tablet market, with 24.7% in the quarter compared to 24.3% 4/2016 in the same period of 2015.
Samsung still keep its second position. Amazon continues to maintain market share in third place. Meanwhile, Lenovo and Huawei are the most successful company in 2016 while ranked No. 4 and No. 5, respectively, becoming the only companies in the top 5 with sales growth in tablet sales.
However, the new version of the iPad Pro promises to launch later this year, it promises to help promote the sales of iPad tablet market in particular and in general.
