Google released the developer version of Android operating system on Tuesday. Features that make the operating system smoother and much more convenient.
Android O release for developers. Here are some key features of this release:
Improving battery life is one of the biggest and most welcomed features of Android O.
Similar to iOS, Android O will limit and manage applications that run in the background. Although it is only a hidden feature but it is highly appreciated.
Notification is always one of the most powerful features of Android. On Android O, you can include your messages in groups of apps and interact with them at the same time.
For example, messages coming from a game app group will be placed in the same channel for easy tracking.
Sometimes you can not immediately see a message, but you do not want to ignore it. Android O gives you the ability to snooze notifications by sliding your finger across the notification and then selecting the snooze timeout: 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
When you get a message from Facebook while driving and you plan to answer it as soon as you get home in a few minutes. If you do not have the re-snooze feature, you will forget it when you get home.
This feature is available on the iPad, but not much on the phone. Android O will allow you to both watch videos and use another app. This feature may be combined with video applications such as YouTube, HBO or Netflix.
On the lock screen Android Nougat has a microphone icon for quick access to the Google Assistant and a camera icon for quick camera access. Android O will allow you to customize your lock screen with more keyboard shortcuts.
Wide Color Range
Although this feature does not really work right this time, but it is really needed in the future. As the phone and tablet screens get more advanced, your application can take advantage of all the color and sophistication of the screen.
Hi-Fi Bluetooth audio
Sound quality has a lot of elements to create, such as recording quality, music file quality, ear phone and especially the source. Android O will help you decode better audio signals, even when wirelessly. This promises to be a feature that gives you the best audio experience.
If you use a keyboard with an Android tablet, Android O better supports developers, to make navigating and shortcut keys easier to use over the physical keyboard. This could pave the way for the development of Android laptops and Chromebooks.
