Subaru has recently introduced the Black Edition option package for its 2018 Forester crossover. The kit is available on the 2.5i premium model, which sits above the base 2.5i and below the Limited and Touring iterations.
The Black Edition comes with black-painted 18-inch wheels, black exterior trim and a black cloth and faux- leather interior with silver and gloss-black dashboard trim. In addition, the crossover also receives LED headlamps and a unique black-out design. This version will be available in 4 different color options including Crystal Black Black Silica, Crystal White Pearl, Dark Gray Metallic and Silver Metallic.
The uniqueness continues to be demonstrated in the cabin with a special seating system with exclusive chairs and a full-back chair. In particular, the designers also offer stitching silver contrast stitching and leather steering wheel integrated digital shift. In addition, there is the appearance of metal details and highlighted black is polished.
In addition to exterior and interior changes, the Forester Black Edition is also equipped with standard equipment including a rear cargo tray, a welcome light upon opening, and an all-weather package that is standard with seats. The front has electric heaters, self-drying mirrors and thawers.
Power comes from a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 170 horsepower and 235Nm of maximum torque. This engine is coupled to the Lineartronic CVT with standard X-Mode steering and Hill Descent Control support. The Subaru Forester Black Edition 2018 will be priced at $ 26,845 more expensive than the Forester 2.5i.
