Next week the 2018 Audi RS3 sedan will be available in the US market at the 2017 New York Auto Show.
Model 2018 will be priced from $54,900, not including shipping costs $975. For some unspoken reason, Audi will sell the limited 2017 RS3 at a slightly lower price: $54,500, excluding shipping. Both versions have no difference in standard equipment.
According to Audi, the 2017 RS3 will be the first cars to arrive in the US and will be made available with carbon fiber pads, Audi virtual cockpit technology with MMI Navigation, Bang & Olufsen sound system, 19-inch wheels with 5-spoke design and unique titanium finish, red brake grip and RS sport exhaust system with black head.
Both the 2017 and 2018 versions of the Audi RS3 use a 2.5-liter TFSI petrol engine and produce the same 394 kW / 480Nm of torque. This power allows the cars to accelerate from 0 – 96 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
Especially, if equipped with Dynamic Plus package option Audi RS3 (2017 and 2018) can reach maximum speed of 280 km/h, the maximum speed without standard upgrade package is 250 km/h, that’s a lot faster than many of the other hatchback rivals.
On the exterior and technology, the 2018 Audi RS3 sedan will be equipped with a 19 inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, full LED over headlights and tail lights, 3-spoke multi-function sports steering wheel , Illuminated door trim with RS3 logo and sporty front seats with embroidered RS on the headrest, delicate Nappa leather seats with prominent diamond cut diamond studs.
The 2018 Audi RS3 continues to own Audi virtual cab technology, MMI touch interface with handwriting recognition and smartphone interface with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Drivers and passengers on the car will also have 4G LTE connectivity, along with the standard Audi Pre Sense & Side Assist support system and the Bang & Olufsen 14-speaker 705W audio system.
